Hubby found this gem today. This is the kind of place you wish you had at home, but at the same time are glad you don’t (because you would eat there ALL THE TIME). We had grilled cheese and tomato soup, and crab cakes Benedict. We were all so excited that we wanted everyone else to try what we had. I must admit that the tomato soup was DELICIOUS (and if you know me, you know mine is my favorite….until today). I don’t eat crab, but the basil biscuits they were served on had a delicate and delicious flavor that just mandated closing your eyes and savoring each bite. The service was outstanding, and had us feeling at home as soon as we walked in. Kids got the root beer, and again, it was the best. Don’t miss reading the stories in the menu. I just love this place, and will come back whenever I get to this area again. Oh! Get the BOWL of soup. It’s that good.

Servers are SO NICE & outgoing. The food is so delicious. I love the fun atmosphere on brunch mornings. Such good vibes and a beautiful space inside that is so unique - partly modern, partly traditional charm. You can kind of pick your vibe on which side of the restaurant you want to sit at.

This place is a gem! The service was polite and expeditious. The atmosphere was chill and not too loud, which was amazing for me as someone who gets easily overstimulated. The food was absolutely amazing.

The Crimson Door in Spokane Valley is a gem that perfectly captures that welcoming, small family-owned atmosphere. From the moment you walk through that fun, iconic big red door, you feel like more than just a customer. On our recent Sunday visit, my daughter and I were greeted almost immediately and settled into a cozy booth that felt just right for a relaxing morning.
I’m a firm believer that you can judge a breakfast spot by its biscuits and gravy—if they can’t get that right, I’m usually one and done. I’m happy to report that the Crimson Door did not disappoint. The gravy was rich, savory, and clearly made with care. My daughter’s teddy bear pancake was a highlight too; it came with fresh berries and whipped cream, and she loved every bite.
The service truly sets this place apart. Our server was incredibly attentive, and when I asked for Tabasco, they introduced me to their homemade hot sauce. It was excellent—flavorful with a manageable heat that didn't overpower the food. It’s clear this family takes pride in what they do. We’ve already agreed to bring the rest of our family back and officially put this spot into our breakfast rotation. I’m genuinely looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu.

We came here on a busy Saturday morning and still got a table within 30 minutes. Tony was our server and he was incredible. Very funny, professional, and clearly loves his job. It’s refreshing when it’s clear that someone is happy serving. The jalapeño cream cheese is to die for. The beignets reminded me of the famous beignets in the New Orleans French quarter. Every service team member went above and beyond. The chefs are incredibly talented and clearly creative. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Perfect way to start the weekend, and one hundred percent worth the cost which was by no means egregious. This will definitely be my new favorite breakfast spot.

Yes, yes, and yes!! Folks I'll tell ya what, having lived in Spokane for many years, I have to say that this may be the single best breakfast experience.
The food was out of this world, with my country fried steak being cooked to perfection, the eggs a gooey and delicious mess, and the hash browns crispy/fluffy. The flavors were spot on, and need to explanation from me other than you're missing out of you have not been here.
Make it a priority to make it here soon! You will not be disappointed.

I knew we would have to wait, and was so glad that they offered to text so that we could sit comfortably in our car. We were seated within 20 minutes and had the best time chatting with Tony and Kaston! The food and the service amazing! This was our first time and we’ve already started planning when we will be back!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Me and our family of 3 went here to celebrate our anniversary with a little breakfast and it is now going to be our breakfast spot! Even though it was really busy and their system was shut down for a period of time the staff were very respectful and got us seated within a few minutes and our food came within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Staff was very kind to our 3 year old and frequently checked in on us. The coffee is phenomenal aswell as the food came out hot and fresh they even make their own homemade jam and hot sauce! I would recommend this spot to anyone. Not a single bad thing I can say ❤️ thank you for giving us such a great experience on such an important day!
